Texas Instruments - Texas Instruments has partnered with DeSoto ISD to increase student achievement in the STEM fields of Science and Math. Over the past 4 years, Texas Instruments has provided GEAR UP students will Math and Science coaches who work directly with GEAR UP teachers to provide direction and support while utilizing TI products to increase student learning.

Campus2Careers - Campus2Careers is a free careers community published by EdSight. Through this site, students can create a virtual resume and e-transcript for life, beginning in High School. Students can also complete an interest and skills inventory, research occupations, colleges, and career paths, and apply for internship, job, volunteer, and mentoring opportunities. Employers and mentors, meanwhile, can create profiles and post positions to develop students and fill their part-time, full-time, volunteer and internship positions. In addition, the site has a number of community resources like a calendar, video wall, and folders to share college and career content.

The Princeton Review - The Princeton Review is a recognized leader in test preparation and has a vast array of supportive services.  One of which is the Early Edge Curriculum. Designed to build a strong academic foundation, Early Edge courses provide educators with a powerful tool for measuring student achievement, keeping students on track, and quickly responding to those who fall behind. Students who are enrolled in Advanced Placement English Language Arts courses and Advanced Placement Math courses are provided with the use of the Early Edge curriculum during the school year. Other students interested in benefiting from the Princeton Review resources are encouraged to enroll in their free summer TSI and PSAT camps held at DeSoto High School.


NIA Kids - N.I.A. Kids Youth Service Organization provides instructor-led training in various forms of dance, drama, piano, vocal, and theatrical productions. N.I.A. Kids collaborates with GEAR UP  in order to provide opportunities for cohort students to participate in their enriching Summer Theater Camps.


Texas Trust - Texas Trust, GEAR UP, and DeSoto ISD are working together to provide financial services and education to employees, students, and their families. As part of the Texas Trust's Spirit in Action campaign, DeSoto ISD will receive financial rewards, an in-school branch, and state-approved financial materials for classroom training, plus personal financial education programs for parents and faculty.


From the Heart - From the Heart is an educational service company whose core goal is to ensure that all children achieve through equitable education. FTH is dedicated to closing the gaps in student academic achievement by providing comprehensive educational services that will transform schools into highly effective learning communities. Over the past 4 years, FTH has provided GEAR UP students with summer enrichment programs that focus on a student’s academic and social development programming to build a student’s self-confidence and outlook in order to ultimately increase their academic achievement. In 2018, FTH joined with the ELA curriculum department to provide a 9th and 10th-grade ELA coach. With the addition of this ELA coach, it is our hope that this additional resource will increase teacher self-efficacy as well as student engagement and rigor.


Khan Academy - Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.
